That one county was a solid Dem county and the other was solid red--consistent counties in terms of past voting behavior.

Yes, these numbers will continue to see saw all night, but it is nice to see a lead, however small, nonetheless.

Generally, the red counties report their numbers early because they're smaller.

The primary point of importance is reporting from WHERE? Don't get overexcited if you don't know that and what the implications are, this early the vote totals will be all over the map.

Obama likely won't win by such a large margin in FL, but I do hope he hangs on to the lead.

it's extremely conservative, and those polls close and hour later because of the time change. The votes west of Tallahassee can be expected to be anywhere from 60-75% GOP (going by '04 and '08).
It's more south central LA (lower Alabama) than anything like the peninsula.

We have about 4X the number of people than the entire panhandle and it's mostly Democratic.
