The 2016 Presidential Primary begins in 24 hours

The 2016 election will be an important one. It will be a choice between continuing Obama's pro-growth, pro-human policy or the beginning of the end of Romney's disastrous term. There are some interesting choices for Democrats. Off of the top of my head they are:

Hillary
Cuomo
Gillibrand
O'Malley
Deval Patrick
Mark Warner
Brian Schweitzer
Rahm Emmanuel

I doubt Biden will run and I'm sure that there are other candidates (people love to mention Warren).

And it will be the first Democratic primary for DU in 8 years. There's a lot of new DUers that don't know what those are like (Mad Max meets C-span).

I am absolutely exhausted from the constant campaigning. I need a vacation.

Please don't bring up the next election. I can't take anymore.

Thanks.

You can bet the Repubs are going to start their wish list and planning as soon as the shock wears off.

the 2016 campaign started two months ago in Charlotte. I met one of the candidates and scouted out several others.

I realized this during the convention, we don't have "it" yet. Except for Hillary, and she might decline.

unless he only serves 1 term to set things up for his Veep

Hillary would be my first choice of the candidates on your list
Gillibrand is an interesting possibility
Rahm is not presidential material
I don't think Schweitzer would get much traction
Dan Malloy of Connecticut might have a shot
I'd like to see more of Deval Patrick

But ... Barack Obama is going to be a tough act to follow.

But if w are going to go there... I like O'Malley I don't know a whole lot about him but he has done a great job as a campaign surrogate this year.
