Lemon said he was in Ohio yesterday and visited Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton. He was curious about how well early voting was going.
While in Columbus he visited a polling place. The lines were very long and there was a room designated for the spillover.
According to Don those guys have a tradition of applauding first time voters.
So just who primarily made up that group?
I was thinking young people, of course.
But Don said the first time voters by a wide margin were minority men OVER 40!!!!!
Both Warren and Don attributed this to minorities' reaction to all the voter suppression laws the GOP tried to pass in that state.
When you tell a Democrat he "can't" do something, watch out

(22,057 posts)Best way I can relate to how they feel is this: Mississippi passed an unneeded voter id law this year. Thankfully, the Justice Department acting under the civil rights act said (and I paraphrase) "HELL NO!". So our tali-bornagain governor Phil Bryant is encouraging "poll watchers" to ask people to voluntarily show id. I'm just hoping one of his cretins asks me, thinking that since I'm white I'm obviously want to support voter supression. I can't wait....
just WHEN are you going to move in with me???
