Yesterday I posted about my dire job situation

I appreciate all the concern and ideas offered.
I contacted both my Senators, my Congressman, my governor, and both State officers.

I received immediate responses from all but one, with offers of help. Only Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (!) has yet to respond.

So I wish to publicly thank:
Senator Jack Reed
Congressman James Langevin
Governor Lincoln Chafee
State Senator Michael Pinga
State Representative Jared Nunes

your rapid response and offers to help one lone constituent was warming.

Senator Reed had me sign papers to let him operate as my proxy.
I'm lucky. They're good people.

Still no word from Whitehouse. not even a courtesy e-mail.
