That 4-year old crying because she is tired of hearing about Obama and Romney...

Obama campaign should send her some fruit and a Big Bird doll. I am tired of the ads also. Does anyone think it would hurt Obama if his campaign just dropped a few showings and left them until after 7pm in most states? I think that he has and will receive all the votes he can get and nothing is going to change except to piss people off. I could be wrong, but I cringe every time those Romney ads are shown back to back. I think a lot of other people do also. Then right after two or more Romney ads comes an Obama ad and I feel like his campaign ads are laden with the "nuisance" factor when they are all jumbled up in the same ad times.

when they see the ads over and over.
Those ads aren't showing on the cartoon channels. Tell her to beg her parents for the remote.

This is not to say that kids shouldn't watch TV, that's another discussion. But when it starts affecting them to this extent, it is the responsibility of the parent to turn it off. Or, as you point out, these commercials are not being shown on channels that are suitable for kids.

Yes, I think the Obama campaign could drop their ads at this point. The president is getting plenty of positive press from the hurricane and the Romney Jeep fiasco.

But I do think the President should cut back on the campaigning and get some rest. He deserves it.

Obviously she is being bombarded with political opinions and ads per her parents viewing/listening choices. My guess is the parents probably listen to right or left wing radio in their car and have maybe discussed the elections. There are plenty of music stations where there aren't ads. I could be wrong, because I haven't lived in a swing state for decades. Hopefully no one is putting out ads during the tv shows that are specifically aimed towards kids.
