That seems to be the gist of what that jerk was saying.

Plus, parodies from that Wizard of Oz song about the wicked witch of the east could be made from that one. Remember when the Munchkin Mayor went and proclaimed her "truly" dead? I can totally see a parody song happening that is based on that melody.

But I also think each of those should have a scripture attached to the end of it; some of them fit.

The one where Moses orders his men to take 25,000 Midianite virgins for their own use? Or since it was Moses, conservative male minds might consider it "legitimate rape." Or the one where the rapist has to give his victim's father 30 shekels of silver to buy her for himself to keep abusing her at his whim for the rest of her life; that would probably definitely be forcible rape, or they might decide on a new definition: Practical Rape. If they'd had cyberspace back then, they'd probably have opened up a web dating site called rapematch.com. It makes one wonder if any fathers actually bartered their daughters to rapists for 30 shekels of silver. It was a harsh world back then and women have always been a disposable commodity.

There are more, you know. It's those that are so easily skimmed by or rationalized so conveniently that are the real tells where religious books are concerned.

What about the one where the people of Sodom wanted to "have" the fair and delightsome angels who were visiting Lot, then instead Lot offers his virgin daughters to the crowd? What kind of rape would that be called?
