Voting in every election should be compulsory because we have the freedom and right to vote.
I make a point to vote in every election, big and small!

I'm voting even though I know Oklahoma will go solid red. It will be an honor.
500,000 voted for Obama in OK in 2008... Hoping for even more in 2012.

I stand in line for hours in South Carolina just to do that. I also want the state to know, slowly but surely we are slowing going from deep red to light red-to light blue in a few years. Makes them sweat.

You're state might be a solid color for president, but there are also congressional races, state assembly, city council, dog catcher, etc. Many of these races have a significant impact.
