Mitt Romney Woos Evangelicals As Mormons Baptize Deceased Evangelicals

http://www.pensitoreview.com/2012/05/14/mitt-romney-woos-evangelicals-as-mormons-baptize-prominent-deceased-evangelicals/
Last Saturday, Mitt Romney wooed evangelical Christians at Liberty University, founded by the late evangelical leader, Jerry Falwell. Romney was invited to deliver the commencement address at the Christian university—where it is routinely taught that Mormonism is a cult — by Jerry Falwell, Jr., chancellor of Liberty, and the son of its late founder. During his speech, Romney made the case that he is theologically and politically bound to the same belief and value system as Christian conservatives.
Jerry Falwell, Jr. explained his reason for extending an invitation to Romney this year was because of Romney’s success in his business career. Ignoring theological differences with Mitt Romney’s Mormonism, Falwell said his father often preached that “Christians should vote for the candidate whose positions on the political issues are most closely aligned with their own…”

Apparently, Jerry Falwell, Jr. does not fully understand the full-fledged doctrinal hostility the Mormon religion has toward all biblically based Christian faiths. With the uttermost secrecy behind the walls of Mormon temples—and without the permission of the closest living next of kin — Mormons are baptizing deceased evangelicals and their deceased family members by proxy.

Walter Ralston Martin (1928–1989) was an evangelical Christian minister who produced a vast amount of literature exposing the cult aspects of Mormonism. Although Martin made his rejection of the Mormon religion well-known during his life, he was posthumously baptized by Mormons on March 29, 2006 in the Houston Texas (LDS) Temple.

Ruth McCue Bell (Graham) (1920–2007) was the wife of the famous Christian evangelist, Billy Graham. Ruth McCue Bell (Graham) was posthumously baptized by Mormons on October 18, 2008 in the San Antonio Texas (LDS) Temple.

Jerry Lamon Falwell, Sr. (1933–2007) was likely turning in his grave, as his son, Jerry Falwell, Jr., welcomed Mitt Romney onto the podium of the university founded by Jerry Falwell, Sr. In mid-2010, a listing for Jerry Falwell, Sr. was discovered in New FamilySearch, the private Mormon database that contains details of Mormon proxy rites for dead people

That will say that the Mormon church cannot baptise me and if they do my family has the right to sue the shit out of them. Something has to stop this.

And when you get back to heaven, refuse to take admission into the Mormon part. There should be plenty of other options. Personally, my choice is Valhalla.

I am so glad this thread was started. I started to create a thread the other day about how my Catholic and Methodist ancestors would roll over in their graves if they were aware that the Mormons were posthumously baptising them as members of the LDS. It's just wrong on so many levels. I didn't start a thread because I didn't know how much talk of religion was tolerated here at DU since it is a hot button issue.

Trust me, they know most all of this but have a mind-numbing ability to turn off the intelligence factor. There are a couple of black protestant denominations that they tolerate...in their place, of course.
