See Argo, next time somebody slams President Carter you can tell them... (language warning)

Saw the film at 11 A.M. yesterday. The theater was about 1/3 full. This is the must see film for the next month.

I very rarely ever use this kind of language on the DU.

Between the facts in this film and Reagan's team bargaining behind the scenes to have the hostages held until after the 1980 election, Jimmy deserves way more credit than he ever got on the hostages issue. And should you hear comments about how bad he was, you can quote the film. "Argo fuck yourself!".

(They create a private catch-phrase among themselves, "Argo fuck yourself," and it never stops being funny.)

I saw it in Rockville MD and the theater was sold out. The audience erupted in clapping at the climax. Its a must see.

The only disclaimer is that some of the facts were a bit exaggerated although the most absurd part of it was exactly true... Argo, the fake movie.

...Reagan's team bargaining behind the scenes to have the hostages held until after the 2000 election...

But an understandable slip.
