Arthur Langley, Pennsylvania Dad, Left 1-Year-Old Daughter To Go Burglarize Homes: Cops

BROOKHAVEN, Pa. -- Police say a man left his 1-year-old daughter home alone while he tried to break into neighbors' houses in a Philadelphia suburb.

Authorities say it happened on Wednesday morning in Brookhaven. They say 20-year-old Arthur Langley was arrested after a resident called 911 to report a suspicious person.

Police went to his house and found the girl in a child seat watching television. Police called the girl's mother to come pick her up.

Langley is being held on $100,000 bail on charges including attempted burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.

One also has to wonder about the quality of his child's upbringing.

4. That guy is NOT a parent

A parent wouldn't have let a child of that age alone; he's a sperm donor who created a child.

I hope there are resources to put that baby girl into a loving home, free from her current situation.
