Trump made for the last year.
Fuck that shit.
I realize tyhe media has a big guilty complex for their failures during Trump's term but this shit will not fly.

(17,757 posts)I saw them blaming Biden for Trump issues weeks before he was inaugurated. You just have to consider the source.

(3,408 posts)Actually thought it would be much worse, but with Trump being muzzled by Twitter and Facebook it seems to be pretty smooth for the moment.
I realize the questions a baited but these professions at the podium now are just knocking them out of the park as if they know the catchers signals.

Now that the adults are back in the WH and are not afraid to take questions, the press are finding their backbone.

(20,043 posts)will come forward and let us know what kind of "guidance" they've received from management on how to cover Trump and Republicans vs. Biden and Democrats. Have reporters and pundits ever been "incentivized" to favor Republicans or "bothsiderism" in the interest of boosting corporate profits?

(16,616 posts)demanded CNN's White House correspondent get the Biden Administration "to answer for" the fact that the Trump Administration didn't leave them a vaccination distribution plan.
gratuitous
(82,849 posts)Remember how there were going to be 20 million vaccines administered by the end of December? It was a bunch of hooey, but the media repeated it was if it was something real that was going to happen. Until it didn't. Oh, the Trump administration was going to use the military, and Donald knew so much about logistics (more than anyone), and by golly, the media had better be giving Trump the credit he deserved for talking such a good vaccine game!
Now, mere weeks later, all the Trump promises are just so much vapor, completely forgotten by the media. Which means they have no context for rating what the Biden administration has been doing, which is having to put together from square one a vaccination program because Trump left the cupboard less than bare and the distribution system hollowed out. And I know those are concepts the media can grasp, because those were the excuses the Trump administration used early on every time they failed to do something because they didn't know what they were doing.

(65,581 posts)Almost all major media carried that as news despite the fact that the manufacturers were issuing public statements as to volume.
The surplus never existed, but they breathlessly reported this terrific development.
Then, the whole country was waiting for millions of new, nonexistent doses, and when they didn't materialize, became stories about "Where did the extra vaccines go?"
It took no more than a 10 second internet search to figure out those doses didn't exist, but no!
