Third World Wages On The GOP Menu With Romney At The Helm
The Romney jobs plan would mean third world wages with his economic freedom mantra. Todd Akin revealed the GOP's dirty little secret when he said that the "gubment" has no right to tell employers what to pay. "Gubment" cannot interfere in the business contract on pay and benefits. That decision is entirely up to the employer and employee.
In the free market freedom economic model you have ship dismantlers in places like Bangladesh and India taking apart scrapped ships including old military vessels making $1 a day with no benefits and no protections. These laborers are actually sawing apart ships with hand held hack saws working under the most dangerous conditions anywhere on the planet.
Do we really want the standard model of our wage and benefit packages to mimic conditions with the worse jobs on the planet? In the absence of worker protection laws like the Fair Labor Standards Act and the absence of any minimum wage we could be headed for a work force that does not even get slave wages.
What the GOP is working toward is WAGE PARITY. Let me repeat that. Add up their rhetoric and we have WAGE PARITY.
I spent 24 years at DOL and witnessed a lot of trends being set that the public is kept in the dark about. The MSM will not tell you. The US Chamber Of Commerce really supports what I call "the Chinese scenario" on wages and benefits so I do not understand why it is called the US Chamber Of Commerce.
So when Romney says he will create 12 million jobs that is his biggest lie, because whatever he creates will certainly be like being promised a chicken but only delivering the feathers and he will not even deliver that.

BTW - Under such a plan of $1 a day that means WOMEN would get 78 cents.
