A pyrrhic victory at best...

short-lived and detrimental in the long run.

The folks that thought Romney won last night's debate were the voters that he already had in his column. They were only looking for some validation. In the grand scheme, it has changed very little.

However, it has awakened the Obama campaign and his supporters. And if they awaken to the same numbers that came out in 2008, Mitt Romney is toast. They are a sleeping giant and they have no desire to see a lying, tax-evading, jobs destroying, trickle-down, plutocrat take over this country.

There will be a price to pay for lying and distorting and changing positions on issues that people care about, such as taxes, Medicare, and healthcare. Romney poked them in the eye and there is an anger that has arisen in the Obama camp that Romney is not equipped to handle. What may seem like a defeat today will look entirely different this time next week...

1. Yep--all those lies he had to tell will come back to beat him senseless.

It's already begun.

The Big Bird bonus was pure gravy!
