My initial thoughts after watching the debate wasn't that Obama had lost the debate. I would say he had an average performance. But listening to MSNBC(especially Chris Matthews and Ed Schulz), you would think he has lost the whole election tonight. They were royally pissed at Obama. Granted, didn't like the constantly taking down notes while Romney was speaking right at him, and letting Romney get away with bald faced lies. But I think MSNBC is blowing this waaaaay out of proportion. To reference, David Plouffe, they need to quit their bed-wetting. Obama will bounce back from this big!

(9,330 posts)It's ridiculous and over the top. Most people were probably bored by the debate in the first half hour.

Tweety is just all over the place.
They do what gets them ratings.

(3,960 posts)Feeling about his unshakable character. Romney was too forceful and too blaintantly full of shit and I thought Obama did a good job of pointing that out. Over and over again. Why Tweety and this board is so upset about that actually baffles me.
