[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]I'm paraphrasing because I don't have the exact quote, but this is the essence of what they said:

"We don't want a leader. We don't need a leader. We want someone who can take pen in hand and sign legislation that we put in front of him."

A friend of mine said that sounded like Norquist. It might have been. If anyone has the actual quote, I'd love to get it from the source.

The quote:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/02/13/grover-norquist-speech-cpac.html

All we have to do is replace Obama. ... We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don't need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. ... We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don't need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]That's what I read a few weeks ago.

Thank you for finding it!

On Edit: That part about "enough working digits to handle a pen" was what stuck in my mind when I read it the first time. Talk about aggressive advertising for a brain-dead puppet. And Rmoney wants to be their guy. Wow.
