The situation is still developing - Ambassador Stevens risked his life to

protect Benghazi from Qaddafi. Those who were rebels know this, and they will soon identify those who killed Stevens. The Libyan government has condemned the rioters. I suspect that those involved will face punishment soon.

you love serving in a shitty, unstable part of the world, and worry constantly about what could happen. I feel so sad for the families of these diplomats.
