What are they doing and where is this taking place?

The human-like figures have such exquisite detail, but doesn't it seem that Michelangelo had no talent for painting hills or mountains? They don't look real at all. Or maybe some old lady wanted to make them look better and screwed them up erasing all the trees and shrubs (they did come before Adam).

I had thought there might be some ET involvement in Adam's creation, but never envisioned a pink cloth UFO without some sort of instrument panel with lights. And "God" was so old even then.

And if the pope wanted this painted, what was he thinking?

If I use this as a desktop, should I use it with the Adam guy or Paul Ryan? Hard choice.
