Oy, part of the job involves covering local debates

Yup I know, it matters little to the overall scheme of things, except for one thing...

The republican lines of "I am a businessman" and therefore I got experience, are part of it.

We even had the tax and spend liberal attack line here.

It gets worst, Democrats talk policy at a high level, while our local Republican talks of pot holes that need to be fixed.

I wish Democratic candidate mentioned that yup, we have lack of maintenance, city hall has been under the charge of Republicans all these decades. He can't, this is a non-partisan office.

Now I need a shower, that was painful.

But what you saw at the NATIONAL level, you are seing locally too.

Oh and keep your eyes open for Carl DeMaio, a student of Gingritch and a rising Republican star.
