by Dinesh D'Souza and why are they calling it a documentary?
They are saying it raked in a few million this weekend. I don't like this one bit

(5,924 posts)They all blew their wad on movie tickets the first weekend. I predict it will shortly be in the dustbin of history.

(232 posts)It's preaching to the choir. You've got to be a nut already to go see the thing (or a glutton for punishment, as my curiosity might spur me to, uh, buy a ticket for a different movie and then get lost in the cinema and wander over to see this one). It's audience is people who are already in the tank for Romney.
There's another Citizens United film/hit piece coming out on Obama before the election, too. And again, who else is going to watch that other than those listening to the voices from talk radio in their head.

They have their own one sided documentary now, and (judging by the trolls at HuffPo's comments) they think they've really blown the lid off something super secret. They're pushing for everyone to see it and claiming it's mind blowing.
One could make one of these smear documentaries about any politician. I really don't see it making waves beyond the paranoid birther types who believe anything they see on screen.

(24,461 posts)A wealth-funded, slapdash propaganda hit piece put together by a Creationist Moonie which is centered around speculation, outright lies and hatemongering with very little basis in fact is the same thing as a thoroughly-fact-checked, eye-opening narrative on why we pour trillions of tax dollars into a War on Terror that produces nearly zero value? NO difference at all? Is that what you're going with?
