wicked tin foil hat time - and I never put on the TFH....but...

watching the news tonight - poutrage at Akin by Rove of all people, RMoney, etc etc etc - then I come up with this wild, crazy ass idea....did they serve up some major league offense, ignorance and stupid to do two things....rally the nutjob, ultra right base together - then position RMoney as the person of leadership (with news appearances by Rove, of all people, and others) to be the adult in the right wing room - so rallying that bunch as well. I know...not a perfect plan, since you have two groups of nuts on the right with no apparent collection - but isn't it about defeating the guy in the white house who looks different?

I guess this is my subconscious way of coming to a conclusion that this bunch would stop at nothing - absolutely nothing - to win - and the current polling hasn't been great, Ryan didn't produce the bump - so try the batshit crazy?

OK - back to the world of sanity.....

1. I know the 'moderates' and 'centrists' and Third Way folks have a hard time dealing with it, but

Republicans are and always have been exactly like Akin. They are not engaging in pretense nor in crafty schemes, they are simply suffering from the results of arranging so many lose canon on their decks.

What if Rove orchestrated this whole incredibly infuriating, offensive and disgusting "legitimate rape" hoo-ha.. he is a super brain who could easily manipulate the pea-brained Akin and others.. Maybe he suggests to Akin that now might be a good time to tell the world of his beliefs..so that Romney and others can bluster about how they cannot stand by Akin's position - even though Ryan's position is exactly the same.. except for maybe the bogus 'science'. Then maybe Romney could emerge as a leader of sorts.

So now that this little tid-bit is out and has become viral..all that voter suppression stuff kinda slides to the back of the room .. it's still there, but kinda hidden behind the elephant. Meanwhile time keeps quick-stepping towards November.

Hows that for tinfoil hat?

I think I must be losing it.. I am so enraged I am not thinking clearly Bahh

I think the GOP might have an answer though..

Personally I believe that rape is an act of incredible violence and rage. But that's just me

However, I believe I have figured out part of it. An illegitimate rape is one that results in pregnancy. If a woman becomes pregnant from a rape, it is a sign that she really wanted it after all, so no 'real' rape occurred.

So I guess a 'legitimate' rape would be one that did not result in pregnancy.. what do you think?

12. Good Point....NOTHING from the Repugs and their Operatives would surprise me anymore!

Get everyone running after Aikin's totally barbaric comments while in the meantime...something else is going on.

With the Repugs ...always look in the other direction from where they point their fingers for us to focus on. There's always something WORSE going on with their strategy that we wouldn't have imagined in the distraction.

They are the masters of this stuff... and, somehow we get caught up in their stuff exactly because they are so good at it. They have billions and they have research abilities to use psychologists, psychiatrists, modelers and the whole disinformation machines of "other entities" at their disposal.

One only hope they will go a "step too far" and finally implode in their own hubris. But, I'm not betting on it anytime soon, sadly.
