Cops Strip Search Mom, "Forcibly" Pull Tampon Out of Her for Maybe Rolling Through Stop Sign

A passing cop pulled a u-turn, flashed the lights, and rolled up behind her. Tarantino claims that the cop immediately drew his weapon, pulled her from the car, and refused to explain why he pulled her over. Tarantino's two young children watched all of this unfold from inside her car.

The cop then placed Tarantino in the back of the squad car, where she allegedly sat for two hours. When backup arrived, Tarantino was strip searched on the side of the road, where passing motorists could see everything.

Then, in a gruesome twist, a female officer "forcibly removed" a tampon from Tarantino. Presumably, the cops were looking for drugs, but the lawsuit notes that a drug-sniffing dog was never called in, and cops never found any contraband or anything illegal.

1. A reliable story not obviously full of distortions and exaggerations would help

I hate cops more than most, but I'm not a fan of dishonesty either.

This (the story) is entirely someone's story... claims in a lawsuit.

Why present this sort of nonsense as if it was actual news?

7. Then you did not read the complaint filed in the Federal District Court.

6. Full of distortions and exaggerations?

The judges of the Federal District Courts can and do impose sanctions upon attorneys who file complaints without a factual and legal basis for doing so.

The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, in contrast to the rules of pleading in some State jurisdictions, require the complaint to describe the wrongful action with sufficient specificity to put the defendant or defendants on notice.

This case was not filed in a State court. Nor is the complaint lacking in specificity.

In contrast to what you presume and say, the complaint was filed in a Federal District Court. The attorneys who filed the comlaint are representing to the Federal District Court that they investigated the factual basis for the complaint before filing it with the court.

The details can be found here:

9. Yup. Whenever I see a story like this, I ask, "Florida or Ohio"?

It's usually always either one or the other.

16. I tell you if people would start boycotting FL maybe they will see people don't want to come

to a state where people are let free for murdering a child (Anthony) and the stand your ground where it is a field day on people. Hell I'll never set foot in FL.

Pigs, at least, have a use.

15. Where is the link to the page where the cops purportedly said that?

How do we know that the cops said that?

How do we know that the cops didn't give some BS justification for their actions?

19. You really don't want to do that.

It can lead to a potentially deadly condition.
