LOL - Romney's afraid to take Ryan to Florida with him this week

I guess he wants to try to get a few more days of media coverage that's favorable to Ryan, and dragging the GOP boy wonder along to the Sunshine State in the first days after announcing the ticket just seems too risky, given what the Ryan plan will do to Medicare.

So instead of a grand tour with his running mate, they're splitting up, with Ryan going to Iowa.

Tackling and handcuffing retiree's would get bad press in Florida unlike Ryan venues elsewhere. gordianot Aug 2012 #2

has a got a pretty high proportion of seniors/older demographic too.
Don't think they are going to like Ryan there either

Some of those snappy old codgers might hurt Paul Ryan's feelings and cannot be seen as the same level of threat as kids in hoodies. One thing the Romney 2012 Insult Tour has learned is who they can insult and only get a few days of bad press. Keep Ryan under lock and key to assess his insult potential.

This was a pick to solidify the fractured rushpublican base...similar to why Gramp picked Grifterella in '08. It's a weak pick but a safe one...someone who can be programmed with talking points that will placate the Norquists, Kristols, Krauthammer and other critics inside Willard's own inept and corrupt party.

They'll send Wolfgang to mostly red and purple areas to "buck up" the great unhinged...leaving Mittens to make a fool of himself in "battleground" states. Remember, their strategy is 50.1...and the only way that happens (or makes it close enough to steal) is for a very heavy rushpublican turnout and Ryan is their poster boy...

Obama needs to appeal to their common sense or they'll resort to whatever the hell, flag pin brainwashing they've been subjected to.
