Ryan says Ayn Rand was his inspiration to enter public service, which is a little like Ray Kroc inspiring a career in nutrition.

1. Randians have no place in government.

Selfishness is the BANE of the public good.

Does he even know what "public service" is? I have no idea what he's doing in government.

3. "public service"

is not a concept that Rand would support. Getting elected to a position and then using that position to further one's own desires and self interests would be more accurate.
Service would be a dirty word - altruistic and all that.
