Personally, I find him rude, crude and offensive. I cringe at the thought of Christie ever being in a position of needing to be diplomatic, and I think that the majority of Americans would too. When I see Romney and Christie together it looks like something straight from the Soprano's The Mob Guy and the thug, or maybe just two thugs.
The re thugs I have seen, (Morning Joe for 5 seconds this morning) seem to regard Romney/Christie as a wet dream because Christie will defend Romney from the big bad Dem's.
What do you all think?

(33,497 posts)They think his 'blunt talk' (really it is rude and crude and just plain name calling) would appeal to blue collar types, I guess. I don't think in the long run he would be any great asset to Romney. He certainly couldn't deliver NJ either.

(1,957 posts)While he may be great as a "protector" from the press and those "evil dems" lurking around the camp site he would also be a huge liability if he gets loose and attacks the press, any foreign leaders C.C. takes exception to and just by his aggressive stance would push Mitt into the background.

I can already see from some of the recent pictures that Rmoney seems to be losing weight and looks a bit gaunt and ragged.

(1,675 posts)when people become tired they become short tempered, Christie could completely lose it and blow up all over the place so PLEASE CHOOSE CHRIS CHRISTIE!

(95,337 posts)Anyone who has seen over 100 Bruce Springsteen concerts and still treats the working class like shit is nothing but a giant Douchebag.
The Atlantic has a great article about the Christie/Springsteen 'relationship'. Christie brags about what a big fan he is and how great Bruce Springsteen is and Bruce basically ignores him even when they are in the same room.

(2,424 posts)Mark my words. His boisterous, confrontational behavior may score big points with the Fox Lemmings, but will be a complete turn off for independents and moderates
I couldn't envision a better self destruct sequence for the GOP than to put Christie in the VP slot. I would anticipate a glut of viral YouTube sharing.
