I feel bad for Mitt having to vet VP candidates while only

being able to see one incomplete tax return.

Obviously the campaign cannot request more than that from any VP contender... it would be a gross invasion of privacy. And one incomplete 1040 does give the Romney campaign "enough of a sense" of a potential running-mate's finances, obviously.

Seriously... whoever he picks, the topic will be what level of financial disclosure Romney thought essential to making an informed choice.

how many loopholes they could find to keep from paying taxes.

Remember, Mitt said that if he paid more taxes than he should (aka, didn't take advantage of all the loopholes his CPA could find or islands he could hide income on) then he shouldn't qualify to be POTUS.
