President Obama Accused Of Racism Against Whites In New SuperPAC Web Ad
A web ad released by a new superPAC suggests that President Obama's administration has quietly accepted and even promoted racism against white people.
The ad, by a superPAC called FightBigotry, said that the president has gotten a free pass for "his disturbing, yet crystal-clear pattern of tacitly defending black racism against white folks before and since being elected president."
According to ThinkProgress, the group was founded by Stephen Marks, a Republican media consultant and opposition researcher, who penned a 2008 book called "Confessions of a Political Hitman."
The ad goes on to assert that Attorney General Eric Holder said that the administration's critics are motivated by race. "Implying that whites are too stupid to have honest disagreements with the president without being racist is, in and of itself, racist against whites," the narrator says.

(19,458 posts)Editing speeches, as Romney and his PACS have been doing, should be considered slanderous.
I keep thinking every day that I'm not going to be devastated or surprised by their hate and racism, but I've been wrong every single day.
To read the comments that people are now posting on the story of the American gymnast "Gaby" and how racist and "poor me I'm white" while signed in with their personal facebook accounts, tells me how racist this country truly is, still.

(2,442 posts)There is a deli owner where I live, and one day with many customers in the shop, he blurted out "President Nigger"... while commenting on the POTUS. I looked around and there were a few customers who all just glared at him. I live in NJ and in a very Dem area. Hate is the easiest trick in the book for the GOP.
I don't shop at that deli anymore.

(602 posts)They have all the hard core racists in the bag already. Why waste money on propaganda aimed directly at that group? Not that they don't have a lot of money to waste, but still, what's the goal? Are they out of ideas and more of this crap is all they can come up with? Is it just a local yokal -- Stephen Marks -- who has a deeply felt hatred that he wishes to share with the public? Keeping in mind that Stephen Marks is probably pretty well connected with the Republican Machine and that the Republican Machine is coordinating their messaging, it isn't totally illogical to suspect that there might be much more sinister reasons behind this ad. And that is very troubling.

(1,307 posts)Republicans are quite adept at portraying themselves as "victims".
As you know, white, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, land-owning, wealth-accumulating males have been
the most oppressed class for decades.
Most of their playbook is based on simple political Jiu Jitsu, combined with classic ego projection
(accusing others of offenses which THEY are guilty of themselves) to wit:
Cries of "racism" coming from racists (Obama is "foreign"
Cries of "victim" coming from those who seek total dominance
Cries of "entitlement mentality" coming from the most entitled group ever collected
Cries of "judicial activism" coming from turds like Scalia
Cries of "media bias" coming from top-notch propagandists and liars
Cries of "socialism, fascism, etc." coming from true krypto-nazis (corporatists)
The list of hypocrisies is endless.
They've been trying to sell this stupid point for years -- that Liberal ideology is racist and Conservative
ideology helps minorities, women, the poor (helps them stay in their subordinate place) -- using the most insane,
twisted logic. Otherwise, how could they live with themselves, knowing what's in their hearts ?
How often has President Obama injected race into any debate, any issue, any discussion ?
How often would it have been justified, especially when defending himself from the not-so-subtle racism hurled at him ?
