By now I'm going to bet all the munitions we secretly traffic to Israel and all the despotic governments we are propping up because they let us come take their resources and the rebel forces we supply arms to so they can overthrow governments we can't control cannot be identified as to their origin.
Sure, I bet there are some numeric codes on each and every one of them that allows anyone with the proper magic decoder ring to ID where they came from. But there sure ain't clear markings that say "made in the USA" or even the imprints that every corporation put on weapons during WWII.
We are prosecuting illegal wars and invasions all over the world. It is imperative we be able to deny our involvement. So don't expect to be able to easily figure out who made that bomb we or our allies drop on other countries.
