How many folks here call their 'backyard/back garden' the 'backside' like Romney did in London?

-snip-

... Mitt Romney's disastrous British trip continued Thursday when, according to The Huffington Post UK, he "caused amusement" by saying he had spent a great day in the "backside" of Downing Street, rather than the back garden.

Mitt subconsciously made that term up as a slam against all the criticism he's getting in London. It's petty and childish, which would clearly suit Mitt.

Hilarious! I especially love the Chopin Mazurka played by a quartet of contra-bass tubas.

Hoffnung's cartoons were brilliant humor.

I prefer to see Mitt as Bluebottle of the justifiably infamous Goon Show, the iconic wacky British humor program that predates all the others. Featuring Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, and Harry Seacomb. Launched Sellers career.

Bluebottle:
Euuu! You have deaded me again!

Maybe South Park learned a bit from Bluebottle when they created Kenny. (The bastards!)

Mitt: Not so much - he's just a buffoon.

Actually GWB's handlers kept him from as making as many gaffe's in public as Mittens.

I am not too good in bath, I am superb in bed. There is a French widow in every bedroom, affording delightful prospects.

You're right. Mittens is definitely not anywhere near Hoffnung's league.

just 'the garden'. This story makes a kid's rhyme come to mind partially, something about a worm in the bottom of the garden....
