It would be a horrible idea. Not only would it be spun that President Obama was afraid and unable to defend his performance; it would deny President Obama the opportunity TO defend his record ... live and uncut. Plus, it would deny President Obama the opportunity to let romney be foot in mouth romney ... live and uncut.

11. Not worth it

Obama is a much better debater than Romney. He can connect with the audience and put real soul into what he says while Romney can't. It's better to have the debates and watch Mittens squirm.

12. The problem is that Obama is ALWAYS made/force to DO something, his opponents are NOT!

My point was that Romney doesn't really belong on the same stage with the President AT ALL, especially so if he doesn't release his taxes. Romney is a hack and should be treated as such.

At some point, Romney's hand on the 1040 taxes has to be forced. If he is allowed to get away with NOT releasing his taxes....Romney WILL win the election.
