(4,886 posts)I thought a little "space truckin" would get people calmed down.
My heart hurts with what happened.

(4,886 posts)standing next to the Sequoias in Northern California.
Just the insignificance of me and my problems just blew me away.
Also really old buildings give me that feeling.
To think that people were living and making lives for their children 1000 years ago.
That was in Germany when I saw the castles and such.
I am a flea on a speck of rock on an insignificant arm of a small galaxy.

(4,886 posts)you MUST do a drift dive the back wall
of Molokini.
Such a cool dive, the wall on one side and the big blue
(and I do mean the electric blue of deep water) on the other.
I did that dive every chance I got. Truly amazing.

(4,886 posts)Lahaina is for the nightlife and Kihei is for the laid back.
Azeka's ribs are pretty good. (In Kihei)
Longhis in Lahina was a hand made Italian Restaurant.
You MUST go all the way around from Hana to Ulapalakua
Ranch. You are in the jungle and within 1-2 miles you are in the desert.
With Cactis and everything.
The rentacar companys tell you not to go past Hana, ignore them.
Just be careful you can make it.
I did it in my cab-with a fare. (Him and his wife, the helicopter company
told him he couldnt drink, I said he could)

Carl Sagen said that and I agree.
