But Joe Biden is not the one offering pardons for the same people who attacked the Capitol, the officers, and myself. Trump is. I sustained multiple injuries on that day, two severe enough to require surgeries and years of mental health and physical therapy. Joe Biden is not saying that he's going to suspend the Constitution. He's not the one standing up in his rally and telling the people to rise up, to listen to a made-up modified national anthem created by convicted felons who assaulted me. Republicans walk out and don't even give us a chance to have a conversation. So it is an easy decision to support Joe Biden

Everything is fake.” He went on: “I don’t like using the word ‘bulls—’ in front of these beautiful children, so I will not say it.”

The crowd struck up a chant: “Bulls—! Bulls—! Bulls—!”

Exit polls over the weekend had failed to capture the groundswell of discontent against Modi among poorer, rural voters, leading to wildly over-optimistic predictions of success for the BJP. Pradeep Gupta, the head of the Axis My India poll agency, which had predicted a two-thirds-majority landslide for Modi, said this was “my mistake” and admitted it had mostly spoken to more privileged male voters to reach its conclusions.
