It is thus inconsistent to label the situation in Gaza as genocide unless one is willing also to claim that the US was committing genocide in Iraq.
It is not clear that Doel et al ever claimed that the US Invasion of Iraq (however wrong the US Invasion of Iraq may actually have been) was a genocide. Was the US Invasion of Iraq a genocide? (That question seems to answer itself.)
