Nearly 20% of voters blame President Joe Biden for the Supreme Court's decision to repeal Roe v. Wade

Actually, once these voters are educated with ad blitzes on abortion, that could have a pretty nice impact on the current polling.

Nearly 20% of voters blame President Joe Biden for the Supreme Court’s decision to repeal Roe v. Wade in 2022, according to a poll released Monday ― even though former President Donald Trump has repeatedly taken credit for overturning Roe, given that he appointed three conservative Supreme Court justices who were central to the decision.

The survey, conducted by The New York Times, Siena College and The Philadelphia Inquirer, found that 17% of registered voters in six swing states believe Biden has “a lot of responsibility” or “some responsibility” for ending the constitutional right to abortion. Just over 55% of respondents said Trump has “some responsibility” or “a lot of responsibility” for overturning Roe.

I think it's not a great poll question, or at least, it's hard to interpret in a useful way.

I think some magats will blame Biden out of ignorance or just to smear Biden. It would be more interesting if they limited the question to non-magats.

I've take plenty of polls where it says to answer this section only if you answered one way on a previous question, or answer this other section otherwise.

Alternatively, they could provide more detailed data so we could do that analysis ourselves.

So in this case the idiots imagine Democrats knew Roe v. Wade would be gone and didn't codify it because they didn't want to (both sides both sides both sides) -- not that they didn't have the votes or considered it settled law.

Because they wouldn't need to. Republicans, with Trump in charge, would ban it outright.

The Conservative Court thus had to do it because Biden was President and those Godless Democrats might be in power for a long time. Thus, it was Biden's fault. You see, if Biden and the Democrats were for forced birth, the Court wouldn't have needed to rule the way they did. The conservative Court needs to take back as many rights as possible while they have the majority.

Honestly. That is what some voters believe.

an elderly white woman who said she was voting for Trump because "He sent me all this money during the pandemic."

She thought Trump was paying for this out of his own pocket because his name was on the check.

"Biden isn't a billionaire, so he woudn't be able to help me like this."

There's a strong tide of ignorance that runs through the electorate, and it seems it always favors the GOP.

Like the man said, "I love uneducated voters."
