Call it what it is...

Corporate Welfare

Food stamps are not welfare for the poor. They allow Walmart to pay less. So, Walmart is benefiting.

Our taxes pay for food stamps so Walmart can pay less in wages and pocket more profit.

In other words, our taxes are their profits.

Damn takers!

Yes.

They know what it's about but they try to make it about patriotism.

Unfortunately for them, patriotism is about Americans not the government or the flag. It's about the freedoms we have fought wars over and our military defends with their lives. It's about the freedom to live without fear of your government.

Black lives matter more than any flag.

"Trump has been receiving words a president typically never wants to hear"

Typically? This is anything but typical.

Trump might want out before he faces the possibility of prison.

Let's let Russia pardon him. He can leave America and never return in exchange for his leaving America and never returning. Win/win.

Americans that Love America but Hate Americans

Call themselves Republican.

A Low Minimum Wage is Welfare for the Rich. Here's How.

A low minimum wage is welfare for the rich.

Walmart pays employees $7 an hour forcing their employees to apply for welfare because they can not live in a healthy way for the wages they are paid.

As taxpayers, we pay for welfare.

So the money that Walmart would have to pay employees allowing them to lead healthy lives is subsidized by us using our tax money.

Walmart doesn't have to pay a living wage. We allow Walmart to pay employees a sub-standard wage and we make it up with our taxes supporting welfare. That money we pay in to welfare is basically profit for Walmart and distributed to Walmart stockholders.

Despite what Republicans think, people on welfare do not want to be on welfare. They want to be paid a livable wage. They work for it. They deserve it.

They deserve it a hell of lot more than the rich fucks that might get a .0001% increase in earnings.

Sometimes I get tired of hearing him say the same thing over and over...

But that's what makes him great. He stays on message and speaks truth to power... over and over again.

This is how We make America Great. Not great again. Better than we have ever been.

Here's What Atheist Lack...

Respect.

People love to say that they respect everyone's religion. But, what about the lack of religion?

What if you believe that you are responsible for your own actions? There is no higher power. You are it.

That's Atheism.

Why does this not deserve more respect than blaming an unknown God for your successes or failings?

You are responsible for who you are. You own your destiny. You are in control.

That is the Atheist belief.

Everyone is accountable for themselves. No excuses.

There are over 2000 different religions observed on earth. None of them are based upon facts.

Only Atheism is based upon empirical knowledge.

You can be your own God.

Just believe in yourself.

I know this is going to be unpopular but I am friends with and I understand many Trump supporters

I know this is going to be unpopular but I am friends with and I understand many Trump supporters - The Deplorables.

You think that they must be crazy to support Trump after everything we have heard. And, that is the thing. They have not heard the latest news. They pay little attention to the news and what is happening in the world because they are spending time with their kids, tending cattle or deployed in the military. What they know is that they do not like the direction the country is going.

These people are not bigots or sexist pigs. They are good solid Americans.

And, they are coming around. There is a lot they did not like about Trump and about Hillary. They didn't vote for Trump or against Hillary. They voted to change the status quo.

They are coming around.

Right now we have the opportunity to change a lot minds. We need to stop excluding people and putting them down. We need to open up and welcome everyone interested in change for the better.

Believe it or not, issue by issue, they agree with Democrats. They just don't like what the label has become. This is our fight to win.

Dow Chemical Reportedly Pressuring Trump Administration To Kill Study About Harmful Pesticides

WASHINGTON — Dow Chemical is pushing the Trump administration to scrap the findings of federal scientists who point to a family of widely used pesticides as harmful to about 1,800 critically threatened or endangered species.

Lawyers representing Dow, whose CEO also heads a White House manufacturing working group, and two other makers of organophosphates sent letters last week to the heads of three Cabinet agencies. The companies asked them "to set aside" the results of government studies the companies contend are fundamentally flawed.

The letters, dated April 13, were obtained by The Associated Press.

Dow Chemical chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris is a close adviser to President Donald Trump. The company wrote a $1 million check to help underwrite Trump's inaugural festivities.

Over the last four years, government scientists have compiled an official record running more than 10,000 pages showing the three pesticides under review — chlorpyrifos, diazinon and malathion — pose a risk to nearly every endangered species they studied. Regulators at the three federal agencies, which share responsibilities for enforcing the Endangered Species Act, are close to issuing findings expected to result in new limits on how and where the highly toxic pesticides can be used.

As a man, I've been guilty of ignoring the struggle women go through.

As a father, I totally see it. I notice when my daughter achieves things that boys get more credit for. It makes me mad.

I see the awesome potential in my daughter. I do everything in my power to make sure she is respected for her accomplishments.

She naturally treats everyone equally.

I'm really proud of her and our new generation of Americans in general.

Times are tough now but we have a great group of people coming of age.

My daughter gives me faith where little exists elsewhere. Trump shows how much our generation screwed up. Hope lives in my daughter and her friends.
