Fear of Conservatives at FB

If you wonder how FB got so toxic... here's an insightful answer from the Washington Post:

“Facebook does not speak Republican,” said a former employee of Facebook’s Integrity Team, which was created to ensure safety and trust on the platform, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely about a former employer. “This is what they know about Republicans: Tell them ‘yes’ or they will hurt us.”

I just spoke to FB in words it understands: Delete My Account.

Fuck you Zuckerburg and all the GOP weasels at FB who are pissing on democracy to protect fake news.

I hate him. He's a criminal. Both can be true at the same time.

And, they are not unrelated. Go fuck yourself Leningrad Lindsey.

Dare we hope: some GOPers misled

GOP senators may fall into one of three categories: 1) guilty co-conspirators who actively advanced the Biden investigation who knew it was a sham, 2) blind enablers who found it politically expedient to deliberately bury their heads in the sand and 3) party loyalists who, until recently, were misled to believe that Biden did something wrong and Guiliani was doing a good thing to try to expose it.

Those in group 1 and 2 are lost forever, and no amount of evidence is going to change their minds.Unfortunately, the party platform and megaphones are dominated by members of those two categories.

The third category, though, holds potential. People don't like being suckers. Unfortunately, they have very little voice in the party and feel bullied by Trump.

We have to convince the third category, even if its a minority - it's a crucial one-- that they are SUCKERS, and the bully has them by the balls.

Beating Trump 101: Cripple his ego

Joe Biden's ad showing world leaders mocking Trump is perfect in every way:

1. Created and trafficked in real-time, coinciding with the news cycle which amplifies buzz and reinforces the narrative that Trump is really weak.
2. Exposes Trump as an embarrassing joke - using the perspective of global leaders who transcend domestic partisanship and divisions.
3. Explains the damage to the American "brand" in the only way TV viewers understand --showing it on the screen like a climatic scene out of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Dissing on the world stage is more compelling to watch than domestic late night TV snark. This sort of ad attracts eyeballs and keeps them hooked.
4. Demoralizes his supporters who feel emboldened by the bully. When the bully finally gets his comeuppance, his minions and sidekicks scatter because they now recognize a new power structure that locks them out. The spineless are going to have to find another place to hide.

Each punch to his ego hobbles his campaign's ability to paint a picture of strength and bravado. He's been knocked off his stride by a rival he considers a patsy. A barrage of hits, or a series of bruising hits over time, will ultimately knock him out.

Please keep these ads coming!!!

Enjoying your meal while racists rant

Sasha Cohen says Zuck is like a restaruant owner who refuses to remove the Nazi who is spewing death threats to minority customers in his place of business:

"The First Amendment says that “Congress shall make no law” abridging freedom of speech, but this does not apply to private businesses. If a neo-Nazi comes goose-stepping into a restaurant and starts threatening other customers and saying he wants to kill Jews, would the restaurant owner be required to serve him an elegant eight-course meal? Of course not. The restaurant owner has every legal right, and, indeed, a moral obligation, to kick the Nazi out. So do Internet companies."

So I ask, if a Nazi starts spewing death threats to minorities in a popular restaurant whilst you're enjoying your lunch and the owner adamantly refuses to do anything about it: Do you continue enjoying your meal? Or do you get up and leave?

Post Your Best Campaign Ad Idea

Here's are a few:

1) Because the Orange Idiot yearns to win, especially celebrity and vanity status, I propose a multi-part series called "Who Said it Best" styled like the side-by-side "who wore it best" celebrity click bait articles. Left screen is Trump saying/tweeting some outrageous shit like "I'm a stable genius." Right screen is villian/third-world dictator/Putin saying same. Final frame is the Orange Idiot in meltdown mode mocking a disabled person/woman/black people
followed by footage of our candidate calmly calling for unity and offering a vision of better days. Superimposed text reads: Choose wisely. Nov. 3.

2) A series of ads called "Shit Wannabe Dictators say" -- which features actual footage of Orange Baboon saying/tweeting shit like "I have the abolute right to order private businesses out of China," "I have the absolute right to declare a national emergency," I have the absolute right to ask other countries to investigate" rivals, "I have an absolute right to share intelligence with Russia," and of course "I have the absolute right to pardon myself."

3) A series called "Some people are saying" that showcases lies Trump told the American people on TV, followed immediately by contradictory statements/reversals by his spokespeople, cabinet members, chief of staff, honest witnessses and actual subject experts.

There is so much material to work with in the public domain. I'm excited to see what the real ad guys come up with. They need to hire the writers from Seth Myers' A Closer Look.

If Truly Trumptastic Traitor gets the boot before election, we pull together similar concepts for all the wingnuts up for election who defended or worse, parrotted this nonsense -- like Graham and McConnell. And if ever Nikki Haley were to re-surface (of course she will), we roll the tape on her shit too.
