About Me

I think a lot of people get stuck in a certain mindset, they won't allow themselves to think outside of their party affiliation. I try not to do that, I'm all about what's fair, what's right and what's just. Liberals have to make it known that we are not the "anything goes" crowd. Yes, we believe in family and some of us even believe in God. We also believe in common decency and human rights for all people. Some of us believe that parents should have a say in the lives of their underage children. The perception of liberals has been twisted and distorted for far too long. Which is why those on the right use the term "liberal" like it's a four letter word. My mother is the type of liberal I would like to be. A God loving, family values, Pro choice, Pro-America, liberal.

Well said!

Rachel Maddow appreciation thread...

I'm so thankful that we have someone like Rachel on our side. She's awesome in every way. My daughter is in college now and she has been watching Rachel since she was nine... Rachel is one of her role models. Thank goodness she didn't fall for those fake documents; because we can't afford to have such a valuable warrior removed from the battlefield.

Can someone please tell me if there are any marches planned to protest

the health care bill... And all the crap that's going on. If so, please post date , time, place. I was so pissed listening to my local news and one of the talking-heads, talked about Democrats moving away from "Identity politics." I despise that term. One persons Identity politics is another persons fight for equality. Also the whole understand and reaching out to the Trump voters is a load of bull$hit! Hang out on twitter and other social media sites and you will find that most of those voters despise everything Democrats stand for and will never ever vote for them.

We need to accept the fact that his supporters know Trump is a treasonous, lying sack of crap... but they don't care. The elected republicans know this too, but again they don't care. As soon as some Democrats realize that the folks who are sticking with Trump would like to annihilate anyone who opposes him.. They will act accordingly. I personally don't have time or the desire to reach out to people who put us in this situation by voting for one of the most repulsive, ignorant, corrupt human beings on the planet.

"Republicans in Congress just made it easier for mentally ill people to get guns"

This should be mentioned by the MSM when discussing the shooting.

"With Washington under complete Republican control, the gun lobby finds itself in an odd position: Without anything to fight against, which is what they usually do, they have to find something to fight for. So what did they come up with? How about making sure that people suffering from mental illnesses can still have access to firearms?

That’s what Republicans did Wednesday. A bill to undo an Obama administration regulation restricting gun access from certain mentally ill people had already passed the House, and Wednesday it passed the Senate."

Must read regarding Susan Rice...

Malcolm Nance recommended this article on Twitter. I just wanted to add... I hope the MSM doesn't fall for the shiny keys that the corrupt Trump administrations dangling. This is about Trump and his band of crooks colluding with Russia.

"If Ms. Rice was communicating with members of Trump's team regarding transition matters and she learns from intelligence that some such members also are communicating with the Russians, she would want to know exactly who is doing that so she can be extra careful in her own talks, lest something she says gets relayed to Moscow," Pillar said."

Can someone tell me why this case wasn't classified as a hate crime too.

"According to the lawsuit, the 18-year-old victim was called names including Kool-Aid,

chicken-eater,” “watermelon” and the N-word by his football teammates beginning in the summer of 2015."

"A former Idaho high school football player originally charged with sexually assaulting his mentally disabled teammate will avoid jail time and escape classification as a sex offender after pleading guilty to a lesser felony.

John R.K. Howard, 19, of Keller, Tex., pleaded guilty to a felony count of injury to a child and will be sentenced to two to three years of probation and up to 300 hours of community service, the Idaho Statesmen reported. A judge will decide the final sentence on Feb. 24.

Deputy Attorney General Casey Hemmer said if the case had gone to trial, prosecutors would have been able to prove Howard kicked a coat hanger into his teammate’s rectum during the October 2015 attack — but a modified guilty plea submitted by the teen allows him to maintain his innocence while still acknowledging he would have otherwise been convicted.

Howard initially faced up to life in prison, a fine as much as $50,000 and registration as sex offender."

This is the question I asked a Trump supporter on twitter... So far he hasn't replied.

If your neighbor told you he likes to touch children and then a child accuses him of touching them.. who would you believe?

The debate was dark, depressing and Donald was repulsive.

It was like watching a belligerent husband bully, yell and blame his wife. I think I'll skip the next one.

Lying Pence

Everyone knew Pence lied, but because he did a good job of delivering the lies the MSM and the GOP said he won the debate.
