I stongly agree with what you say and have expressed the same thought.

My thinking was including those who are Independents and lean strongly Democrat who could be affected. I also believe that not every registered Democrat is as fully committed as those on this board. I believe that it also more true that Republicans will vote the party line regardless and are more monolithic that Democrats. Like to old saying: Herding Democrats is like trying to herd cats.
