I Beat The Hell Out of Another Client Yesterday

But the clients that really bother me these days are those old school cats, you know the grandpartently types that come in playing that whole senior citizen sympathy game. I had another one of them in today and I just lost it…all over his Greatest Generation arse. Apparently he and his wife had been married for I don’t know, like 60 years or something. I picked up on that when grandmom sitting there with her white hair and knitted shirt started distracting me with how she worked so hard when he shipped out to fight the Germans…blah, blah, blah. Yeah, and he was all tattooed up, but you know not cool tats or anything, these things were just like these bled out blobs on his forearms, something about U boats or whatever, and he’s rattling on about storming some beach or something and It’s like, just get to the point already.

Very strong message...IMHO, well worth the time to read

Conservation camp applicants wanted

The website covers most issues, but feel free to PM me with any questions. I've been involved with this program since its inception.

Kids don't get in because their parents have fat wallets. They get accepted on their personal merits. If money is an issue, we will make it happen.

JPM Chase Quietly Halts Suits Over Consumer Debts

Chase's halt does, however, follow scattered defeats in state courts and a whistle-blower's allegation that it falsely overstated the balances of thousands of delinquent accounts it sold to a third party. Former Chase employees and debt collection experts insist that the bank would not have abruptly retreated from its collections efforts in the absence of trouble.

In a sign that Chase acted with urgency, numerous regional collections teams were fired in mid-2011 at the order of the New York bank's headquarters, according to people familiar with the events.

"Nobody told anybody anything. It was very traumatic," says a former Chase attorney who asked to remain anonymous because of a nondisclosure agreement. "I think there were investigations by the [Office of the Comptroller of the Currency] and other government entities. If we're not there, we can't be interviewed."
