Tentative agrrement reached for release of 50 hostages.

Pending approval by Israel.

There wouldn't be any release of hostages if not for the IDF operation in Gaza. The Hamas barbarians have been decimated and are desperate for reprieve. President Biden was right in rejecting talk of a cease fire.

Israel exists as a country, whether some like it or not. Anti-Zionism is the belief that it should not. Its as simple as that.

You can't redefine words. If that is your stance, just say so.

And Zionism is not related in any way to objection to a two state solution or Palestinian self determination.

I don't see how it is possible, but I have underestimated the pervasiveness of antisemitism.

It is everywhere, regardless of religion, political affiliation, race. I am not naive. I knew it was bad. I mean, thousands of years bad. But it's so much worse than even I could imagine.

Were there people in the 40s that tried to draw moral equivalence between Nazis and the Allies?

125000 German civilians died in the Battle of Berlin. Was there a separation made between the civilians of Germany and their leaders by "concerned" individuals? How would that operation have been carried out to the satisfaction of both siders? Wait it out?
