Geez supply chain really screwed up for appliances

In NE anyway. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thought once we had the money set aside and could pick what we wanted it would be fun to redo a kitchen in the new old house we just moved into.

Online stores lie about delivery. They promise dates that are bogus - months away from when they said. Going to a big box store just as bad. Was told it would be at least a month for the dishwasher I want. And online ratings make things worse cuz everyone wants the best products. Even if an appliance is made in US - they depend on parts from abroad.

And it snowballs cuz you have to line up plumbers and electricians. As it stands now we'll have a counter cut out for a stovetop we might not get until November.

Funniest thing Obama ever said

"Has anybody bought that wine? I want to know what that wine tastes like," a laughing Obama said at a Democratic Party fundraiser Saturday at Gilley's in Dallas. "I mean, come on. You know that's like some $5 wine. They slap a label on it. They charge you $50 and say it's the greatest wine ever."

I thought of this Obama moment since looking at a place to stay in VA..and place popped up that said it was the trump winery??? Thought long defunct.

New NY Filing - Trump overstated assets by up to 3.5 B per year

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/09/08/trump-overstated-net-worth-by-up-to-3point6-billion-per-year-ny-ag-alleges-in-new-filing.html

Former President Donald Trump’s net worth was inflated by billions of dollars more than what the New York attorney general’s office recently believed to be the case, the AG said in a new court filing Friday.

Citing an analysis by valuation and accounting experts and taking into account other adjustments, the AG alleged that Trump’s net worth in any given year between 2011 and 2021 was overstated by $1.9 billion to $3.6 billion.

That is “still a conservative estimate,” New York Attorney General Letitia James alleged in the filing, because those valuation experts still accepted many of the assumptions used by the defendants in their annual financial statements.

James made the new claims in a filing opposing Trump’s request for a summary judgment in his favor in the AG’s sweeping civil fraud lawsuit against the former president, his adult sons and his businesses.

Per AP/NORC poll a whopping 77% think Biden too old to be President

Say poll bogus. Say too soon. Say too Republican, whatever.

But more productive would be how you reduce 77% !!!!!!

Has there ever been a great leader who constantly brags

(think pence ) that has won great approval? It's so off-putting. To me, a great leader is self-deprecating to some degree. Makes them likeable?

On intros, crowd booed Pence, Christie, and Asa

Definitely a Dipshit loving crowd

DeSantis got a thunderous welcome.
So Dipshit lovers don't hate him.

Crowd VERY distracting. Hooting and hollering. No decorum. Jeez almost sounds like a soundtrack. How weird.
