I love Joe Biden.

As a human being, as a man who has lived his life doing what he believes is for the good of the country.

However - I am not convinced he is the one to lead us into a better future. I am not convinced he will be able to give non participatory Americans a compelling reason to vote for him in the general election.

Let's not forget he's run for the presidential nomination twice before, and lost.

Is he a winner? Is he who we can confidently count on to take on the orange menace and change the trajectory we find ourselves on as a country?

I am not convinced. I'm not sure what it will take to get me there.

Maybe Biden supporters here can help me understand why he would be our best choice.

That said, I will definitely vote for him if he's our nominee.

U.S. to states: School lunch changes none of your business

From Reuters:

As schools begin reopening their doors to children nationwide, the U.S. government has told a federal judge that states have no power to sue over new rules they say make school meals less healthy.

In a Monday night court filing, the government said New York, five other states and Washington, D.C., could not sue based on speculation that changes to the federally funded National School Lunch Program could cause health problems for children and require more spending on treatment.

The government also said the states lacked power to sue under a doctrine known as "parens patriae," Latin for "parent of the nation," because it allegedly would not protect children from harm.

"This rule recognizes that a state has no legal interest in protecting its citizens from the federal government, and that only the United States, not the states, may represent its citizens and ensure their protection under federal law in federal matters," U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman in Manhattan said in a filing in the federal court there.

Another blow to children. These people are despicable.

Memo to the media and America: his inane tweets ARE NOT jokes.

Please stop framing them that way!

They're not funny and are intended to cause harm.

Political Party Identification Trends 1992-2017

Statistics from Pew Research indicate that the Republican party is on the decline, with that downward trend more dramatic in just about every category after Trump became president.

I don't know if this has been posted before, if you haven't looked at the numbers please do so:

https://www.people-press.org/2018/03/20/party-identification-trends-1992-2017/

There is no way Trump can win in 2020 without anything happening to reverse this trend. Assuming the election is fair.

Our focus needs to be independents and those who aren't political and don't vote. We need as many of them as we can get to ensure that foreign and domestic interference and tampering won't matter.

Anyone else watch The Family on Netflix? 😱

If you haven't, I urge you to do so. Just finished it and WOW.

This organization is an abomination - professing deep faith in Jesus while supporting and bringing together the very worst of humanity.

I had no idea the power they have.

Remember when Barr recused himself from the Epstein case?

Because of past family connections to Epstein?

Then changed his mind shortly thereafter?

Someone gave him a talking-to and forced him to un-recuse.

Why was it so important - and to whom - that Barr remain involved?

DOJ's manual for handling suicidal inmates.

The document is online here:

https://www.bop.gov/policy/progstat/5324_008.pdf

From the manual:

d. Watch Termination and Post-Watch Report. Based upon clinical findings, the Program Coordinator or designee will:
1) Remove the inmate from suicide watch when the inmate is
no longer at imminent risk for suicide, or
2) Arrange for the inmate’s transfer to a medical referral
center or contract health care facility.
Once an inmate has been placed on watch, the watch may not be terminated, under any circumstance, without the Program Coordinator or designee performing a face-to-face evaluation. Only the Program Coordinator will have the authority to remove an inmate from suicide watch. Generally, the post-watch report should be completed in PDS prior to terminating the watch, or as soon as possible following watch termination, to ensure appropriate continuity of care. Copies of the report will be forwarded to the central file, medical record, psychology file, and the Warden. There should be a clear description of the resolution of the crisis and guidelines for follow-up care.

Who is the program coordinator in charge of Epstein?

Where is the documentation as required by this manual?

What would the mob do?

That's exactly what happened.

Epstein was a huge liability for ***.

Once Barr took over DOJ, the raid for evidence and arrest happened.

Now, Epstein is dead in one of Barr's prisons.

Liability gone.

Evidence incriminating *** gone.

Poof.

Barr is ***'s hit man.

RESIGN IMMEDIATELY

We need to demand that the white supremacist inciting terrorism resign. Impeachment will not remove the clear and present danger that lives in the WH.

Resign! Take your things and GO!!

Vote for the person who will be most transformative.

I heard that today and have been pondering it.

This election is not like any other in our lifetime.

We must have no less than transformation.
