Chi67's JournalThis might be obscure, but any Gary Numan fans?
Many people say, "Oh that guy who did that song Cars?"
Well yeah, but he has done so much more. If you're a musician or an electronic music fan, you probably already know him. The man has made so much great music, it's crazy. He still makes good stuff.
I have been a fan since "Cars" when I was in 8th grade in the late 70's when that song came out. Been addicted to his stuff ever since.
The reason I bring this up now is, I just got the remastered version of Telekon on double LP vinyl. It's brilliant. I still have my original vinyl of Telekon and there is no comparison. The remaster is amazing.
Just geeking out hard tonight on this one. I want to get Dance next, as it also got the double LP treatment.
Anyone else a fan?

The link says it all. I have no sympathy for either side. They both suck big time.

Sade
Sade might be my favorite band ever. They have only made a few records. But each one is beautiful. I and a friend were listening to Promise tonight. Good god. It is just perfect. Not one bad song.
Got a shutout at my hockey game tonight
I haven't mentioned this here, but I am a men's league ice hockey goalie. I got a shutout tonight at our game. Score ended up being 5-0. I needed that as I have been working almost 24/7 for the last few weeks at the office and on a freelance project.
No one has to say anything, it was just a good day.
GOP goes after LGBT seniors
https://www.advocate.com/politics/republicans-strip-lgbtq-fundingUnbelievable. Now they are targeting LGBT seniors too:
The Republican-led House Committee on Appropriations took up and passed a last-minute amendment that sought to strike funding for three community centers that serve LGBTQ+ seniors in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. LGBTQ Senior Housing Inc., William Way LGBT Center, and LGBT Center of Greater Reading were all stripped of funds.
Well, after the Christian wedding website case
It begins:
The post came days after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that, under the First Amendment, a web designer could refuse to make a website for same-sex marriages based on her religious beliefs. In March, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed legislation that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. Geiger doubled down in a post Sunday, July 9, on the Overheard in Traverse City Facebook group. She said she has no issue with lesbian, gay or bisexual customers, but said she will not support the TQ+ community.
This stance was taken to insure that clients have the best experience, and I am admitting that since I am not willing to play the pronoun game or cater to requests outside of what I perceive as normal, Geiger said. Some Facebook commenters supported the business owners stance, but others called her opinions discrimination and vile behavior.

I am wondering just how much more of this we'll hear in the near future.
