About Americana

I am an artist living in the Pacific Northwest, Renton, WA to be exact. I work from home, as an artist, and also am caregiver to my sweetheart\'s father, so that his mom can work no problem...I get no pay but there\'s a wonderful satisfaction knowing what I do helps others, like his mom so she can continue to work after his AAA (aortal aneuryism, heart attack, and stroke in February 2014). I have two wonderful girls on Vashon, and am to be a grandma March 2015! We are total hippies! I love to help others, and have been an activist for over 14 years. I\'ve haunted DU since 2000.
