Stanford has done a study-released yesterday, about sterilizing masks.

https://stanfordmedicine.app.box.com/v/covid19-PPE-1-2

"In this materials science study of N95 face masks, two disinfection methods which do not reduce the filtration efficiency of the meltblown layer after an appreciable number of treatment cycles were found:
•Method 1: 75°C (158 degrees F) Hot Air (30 mins) for 20 cycles
•Method 2: UV (254 nm, 8W, 30 min) for 10 cycles. Steam treatment causes filtration efficiency to drop to ~85% after 5 cycles, and ~80% after 10 cycles."

I use my dryer shelf insert and use an infrared temp sensor. My dryer is an older Duet and I reach temps of 176 degree F in about 8 mins on the medium setting, which is supposedly a 32 minute cycle. Mine tends to shut off early so I go for 2 cycles.
Watch out for the metal nose bridge coming off. I re-glued one.

Information from Stanford about re-using N95 masks. Sterilization. Released yesterday.

What did you take with you when you moved?

I'm interested in hearing from ex-pats who moved, and if they had regrets about stuff they brought with them or left behind.

Thank you for the heart!

You've inspired me to pay it forward.

FBI Visits Office of Saipan Casino Run by Trump Protege

Source: Bloomberg News.

"Agents from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation visited an office belonging to the operator of a casino on the remote U.S. island of Saipan that has attracted attention for its huge revenues, according to a local legislator and residents.
FBI personnel, accompanied by uniformed police officers, arrived Thursday morning at a local office used by Imperial Pacific International Holdings Ltd., the Hong Kong-based company that owns the Best Sunshine Live casino, local residents said. They stayed for several hours, with local police blocking access to the building.
Saipan, an island of 50,000 residents closer to China than to Hawaii, relaxed rules on casinos in 2014 and soon awarded Imperial Pacific exclusive rights to open casinos there. The casino, run by an executive who cut his teeth in Atlantic City casinos then owned by Donald Trump, enlisted a slate of luminary overseers including former leaders of both the Republican and Democratic national parties in the U.S."
Imperial Pacific Chairman Mark Brown is a former executive in President Trump’s Atlantic City casino empire.

Interesting timing. Has already been accused in December of money-laundering by a former executive.

House Schedules Vote on Eliminating Consumer Online Privacy Rights Next Week.

The Senate voted 48-50 to "take away the privacy rights of Internet users as a favor to the cable and telephone industry."
While we were busy with the health bill. The house will vote on this and we do have a chance of stopping it. If this passes, it has a poison pill in that no other laws may be enacted to counter this BS. Please call!!
