President ran against Bush, ends up governing like him and you thought Liberal Media was dead?

So says an excellent McClatchy editorial that ran in the Miami paper.

If you thought the "Liberal Media" was dead, this should bring a smile to your face.

McClatchy, the 4th largest newspaper chain in the USA, is far less known than the other big newspaper chains, because it doesn't focus on "marque" acquisitions of top metro dailies. Instead you'll find the likes of the KC Star and the Miami paper heading up their largest properties.

As Progressives we should do our best to seek out news sources that honestly reflect the world and issues without the Right Wing slant in other media.

McClatchy IS the standard bearer in terms of editorials for Progressive Issues.

Finally, While I personally do NOT agree with every point they make, and am far more understanding of many of the President's tactics outside the healthcare debate, I still want to give kudos to a media company that dares to have a Leftward looking POV. Something we almost NEVER see in the rest of our American Corporate News Establishment (ACNE)and encourage others to make McClatchy.com the go to source for news for Progressives and Liberals.

If you do you might experience something you forgot about the sense of satisfaction from reading your point of view represented in media.
