Khazei announces for MA Senate
I worked for his primary campaign back in '08 and really like him. He invented City Year.

1. I like him, but he seems to be against single-payer health care
And similar ways to bring the cost down with serious government intervention. At least that's what I understood from an interview with him, perhaps I misunderstood?

4. He's for, roughly speaking, the House version of PPACA
He wants a heavily-regulated exchange with a public option (personally that worries me since I'm anti-public option unless it has a dedicated revenue source). He's not "against" single payer he's just not going to waste time jousting with that windmill.

2. I voted for him in the primary
As I recall, he got his ass handed to him. (Not unusual for people I vote for.)

5. Karzai would be better than Brown. And isn't he a BU alum?
Edited on Tue Apr-26-11 08:16 AM by Recursion
I think he got his PhD there when he was in the US. BU has so few famous alumni you'd think we'd know them all (Karzai, MLK, and George from Seinfeld are about it...)
