Bahrani Crown Prince invited to UK Royal Wedding
Source: press tv

The British royal family has invited 46 foreign royals to the Friday April 29 nuptials at Westminster Abbey, London, and Bahrain's Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa is reportedly to sit just behind the British royal family during the ceremony. The brutal treatment of Bahraini demonstrators ordered by the Persian Gulf country's royals has been the focus of media around the world over the past weeks and has drawn international condemnation.

The prospect of the Bahraini crown prince 'honoring' the royal wedding has led human rights campaigners in Britain to demand Foreign Secretary William Hague to withdraw the invitation. The Human Rights Watch has slammed the Bahraini regime's treatment of demonstrators. 1. He's not coming:
The Crown Prince of Bahrain has said he will not attend Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on Friday because of ongoing unrest in the Gulf kingdom.

Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa said it was with "deep regret" that he had reached his "considered decision".

He said he had hoped the situation in Bahrain would have improved so he could attend and not "overshadow" the event.

2. thanks
the situation would "improve" if his armed forced would stop kidnapping, torturing and killing doctors for one thing, not to mention everyone else.

It still says a lot that he was invited.
