I saw him on Real Time once and he struck me as a very bitter and judgmental person. I doubt he has a lot of friends, and the ones he has just reinforce his actions. I don't doubt he gets lots of strokes and perks from being the shit that he is. He's an "end justifies the means" kind of guy. Whatever works is fine by him, IMHO.
