To let us know just how far the corporate media is in the right wing pocket, the prof. juxtaposed these two stories. Keeping in mind that all media outlets that we used to call news cover things like Lindsey Lohan, and giggling babies, the Palin story should have been considered a blockbuster!! At least as big or bigger than Edwards, but certainly bigger than the birther bore. Two things: The Palin hoax was swept under the rug, despite the fact that it could have been a boon for cable and the current newsrags. Second, why were we shamed about talking about this "conspiracy theory and not the other (birther)? Very bizaar.
