1. Story up next is whatever products the news shows are...
hocking for the sponsors during commercials....Corporate Capitalism and all.

3. CNN was my last bastion of somewhat varied news...
and didn't think it was entirely slanted (just mostly), but when the Mideast protests started and then the Japan disasters, there was no more US news. I was trying to find info on Wisconsin online and came upon this site. Thanks for turning me on to MSNBC (although I'm not so sure about Morning Joe). I used to try to get an even perspective, but don't care anymore. Had enough. I find out so much more here. Thanks all. :hi:

5. Just think of the better use of
the money you would save from unsubscribing from your cable/satellite service. Imagine all the commercials you won't have to pay to watch anymore.

Buy DVD sets or movies you like. Watch content on the Net. TV-free is a new state of mind for you and your family and it is like unplugging from the Matrix. I meet more and more people who are doing it.

You get two benefits. Aside from clearing your head of the alpha-inducing, corporate mind-washing insertion, you also make a small, financial vote by not supporting a 24/7 sales and propaganda machine.
